Homemade Choco-Coconut Protein Bars


    1 1/2 C.  oats
    1/4 C. toasted coconut
    1/4 C. toasted slivered almonds
    2  Tb.  chocolate chips
    2 scoops protein powder
    2 T. cocoa powder
    1 T. honey
    1 C.  powdered milk
    1/2 C. water
    2 Tb  flax seed


Over low heat, toast almonds, then add coconut for a few seconds.
Mix all ingredients and press into a greased bread pan. Allow to set refrigerator. When hardened, dump from the pan and slice into 9 even bars.

Store in individual baggies in refrigerator.

    These have been a great snack! I substituted 1/2 cup of milk since I didn’t have powdered milk and they are fine.
